A wonderful read for horror aficionados and for those who appreciate Craven's filmography. Craven's life shows the paradox of a strict fundamentalist upbringing and a genius creator of horror films. Wooley weaves an easy-to-read, fascinating story that inspired me to head to my local DVD store and rent some of Craven's classics, providing a new appreciation for his films.
Amazing insight on a truly interesting talented director. Very good research and information you wont easily find elsewhere. It also is a great breakdown on how filmmaking was in the '70s '80s and '90s. High recommend.
