This book is a must have for anyone with rotator cuff problems.A few years ago I injured my shoulder with a weight training incident. Prior to the injury, I had been extremely strong. Although it just felt like a little tweak when I injured it, the injury got progressively worse. I went from being able to bench press 500 lbs. to barely being able to lift my arm. I let it go for awhile hoping that it would get better on its own (denial?).Eventually I ended up going to an orthopedic surgeon. He gave me a cortisone shot which helped quite a bit for a short time. Then it was back to the previous weakness.I heard someone mention this book and thought that it wouldn't hurt to try it. I read it and started doing the stretching and resistance exercises in it. My shoulder started feeling better and getting stronger within a couple of weeks. After following this routine for several weeks, my shoulder was as strong as ever.In our day and age of surgical approaches for seemingly everything, this is a refreshing approach to rehabilitation. It may not work for everyone as well as it did for me, but I am glad that I tried this approach. It saved me from surgery and possibly a lifetime of problems.Highly recommended!
I had major shoulder reconstruction, and during rehab read everything I could get my hands on to assist in the healing. There were some good ideas in here, but I felt like it was directed to the body builder type (gym rat on "T"), but I still got some good advice about the right vs the wrong way to life some weights once my shoulder started working again. This book is really for the man's man who wants to get great big strong shoulders with proper lifting technique. Not who I am, but still got some good ideas. Good pictures. Well explained.

The reading is set up quite nicely. It's very easy to understand. There is a lot of good information in there. Definitely worth purchasing as I know I will reference it for many years to come (for my patients)!
This book is great. It explains how your shoulder works & what it is doing. The exercises are explained well. I wish I knew more about the shoulders inside workings way before I started lifting years ago. It arrived quickly also. I strongly recommend it. God Bless You!
